What do I do?
I’m an all-around filmmaker and love love love making things. I write, produce, direct, and edit videos, and I also work on animations, motion design, website front end’s, photoshop materials, presentations, etc. If it will exist on a screen, I can play a role in making it.
What’s my background?
I have an Econ degree from Columbia and years of experience working in tech at Google before going fully ‘creative’ at Google and beyond. So I can speak corporate lingo just as fluently as I can speak creative. I’ve also co-owned, creative directed, and sold a company (eatbrave.com).
Companies and brands I’ve worked with include Google, Condé Nast, MrBeast, Outfront Media, Android, Colgate, and more.
Greatest achievement?
I’ve never been hired by someone who didn’t ask me to work on a project for them again.
I also won a Ben & Jerry’s commercial contest as a teenager (proof), which was pretty neat. Since then, I worked at Google for seven years, where I got to do things like film a solar eclipse with astrophysicists from UC Berkeley, meet with the Governor General of Australia to discuss VR in education, document how trout are sustainably farmed in Calgary, and make college campuses available to tour in VR so underprivileged students can afford to experience them.
I also made a documentary about my favorite fish taco, and I’m the creative director for Brave.
